Happy 75th Birthday card

http://www.simonsaysstampblog.com/mondaychallenge/
Hi everyone,

It's Monday and that means a new Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge! This week it's all about "Something New".

My father's 75th birthday is in a few days and he doesn't like cards with lots of dark colors. So I made a card with cheerful colors for him. First I used Distress Ink Speckled Egg, Crackling Campfire and Ground Espresso for the edges. Then I stamped random with the Messy stamp.

To add texture and to use something new I used the Geometric Lattice Embossing Folder from the latest Simon Says Stamp release called To The Moon. To highlight the texture of the embossed areas I first applied the same Distress colors again, and to make it pop even more I applied Distress Ground Espresso.
