My favorite theme is ....... Halloween!

Hi everyone,

A new Monday means a new challenge at Simon Says Stamp and Show! This week's challenge is to show your favorite. This may be your favorite technique, product, color, inspiration ... Anything is possible, the sky is the limit, as long as you show and mention in your blog post what your favorite is and why. My favorite is the Halloween theme. You can do so much with it, and I've always had a love for spooky things. What would it be cool if it  is celebrated as it should here in the Netherlands.

It's time for a short tutorial.

I inked the embossing folder with the 3 distress fall colors on the raised areas and run it through the vagabond.

Very carefully I inked with an ink blendingtool the raised areas with Black Soot to give the impression that I've stamped it

To create more interest, I've distressed  two tags with distress ink.

I'm not into cutting my stamps, I'd rather mask some of it off when I ink my stamp.

Below are some more pictures of the finished card.

To join in all you need to do is make a project that fits this weeks challenge and you can be the winner of the $50 gift voucher that our amazing sponsor Simon Says Stamp offers. This prize will go to a random entry. So go over to the Stamp and Show Challenge blog, let the DT members inspire you and join in the fun!

Thank you for stopping by! Love to see you next time!

Hugs,
Sandra

Hey Sandra - My favorite is Halloween too. All tongue in cheek and the sky is the limit. So much fun and your card is too. How do you think up all this stuff anyway!! I loved what you did with the tag. And quoting Tolkien
too. I read his books out loud to my kids when they were young. Your card is really spooky and wonderful - especially that skull!!
