It's Monday and that means a new Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge! This week it's all about "Frame it".

Yep, I already warned you, I made another card with resin molds, and it will probably not be the last. This card has become a bit too busy, but it's part of my learning process ;). I framed the card in several ways, using one of the Mechanics elements and building up around it, making a frame around the card with stamps and Embossing Powder, and layering the card and go around it with a White Gelly Rol pen.

It's Monday and that means a new Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge! This week it's all about "Use Stencils".

I have got a new addiction, and those are silicone molds. I can't stop making the shapes with those moulds. I find it quite difficult to use them in a project. But with this one  I managed to make a first creation with the Finnabair Cogs and Wings and Mechanica molds. I used resin in the molds, but you could also use paper clay. Just know, these molds are quite sturdy and are quite hard to remove from the molds.

Happy Hour card with video tutorial

Hi everyone,

It's Monday and that means a new Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge! This week it's all about "Happy Hour".

For this challenge, I was inspired by the Whisper Collectables clock. I wanted to keep it in the vintage style and also the vintage colors. I chose Spun Sugar as the main color, along with some shades of brown. First I applied texture with the Bubble stencil and Texture Paste. And on top of it a layer of Clear Gesso (after the Texture Paste was dry :)).

Green Metallic art journal spread with video tutorial

Hi everyone,

It's Monday and that means a new Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge! This week it's all about "Add Something Metallic". We're also showcasing Brutus Monroe products this week.

It was time for an art journal spread and I wanted to try out the layout that I have been using recently with my making cards in an art journal spread. I started to apply texture with the Spaced Dots Stencil and Crackle Paste. When it was dry I applied a layer of Clear Gesso to cover the whole page. Because of the texture it was quite difficult to apply it well around the crackled dots.

A friend of mine challenged me to make a stamping collage and I accepted it. It's harder than I thought. And also a lot of work, to mask everything and make it beautiful. I think I have to practice a little more so I'll get better at it. But for a first try, I think it was pretty enough ;).

Going Around in Gears card with video tutorial

Hi everyone,

It's Monday and that means a new Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge! This week it's all about "Going Around in Circles".

For this challenge, I thought of gears, these are round and go round, and the 3D Mechanics Embossing Folder is really perfect for this. Because I'm working with Nuvo Powders, I like to use Clear Gesso as a primer. After the gesso was dry, I started adding layers with the Nuvo Powders, Atlantis Burst and Green Parade. And to add more color and depth I also used Infusions A Bit Jaded.

Alcohol Ink Bloom card

Hi everyone,

It's Monday and that means a new Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge! This week it's all about "Beautiful Blooms".

I wanted to try to make a mixed media card with Yupo and Alcohol Inks. I started to apply Texture Paste to with Lattice stencil on Yupo. After it was dry I applied a few drops of Blending Solutions and a few different colors of Alcohol Inks, such as Raspberry, Sunset Orange, Sunshine Yellow, Mineral and Pearls. Wow, those colors are bright, especially Raspberry.
