Parisian Lady

Hi everyone,

Paris is one of my favorite cities in the whole wide world. I've been there plenty of times, and I'm having fun every time. As you know I was there just a few months ago! Oh la la! The Eiffel Tower is really beautiful and I want to climb it one day. Unfortunately, it's always so busy and that will go at the expense of visiting other amazing sights. But it will happen some day, I'm sure of it!
This week at Simon Says Stamp and Show the challenge is the make a France inspired piece. I chose to do a mini canvas.

As base, I used a napkin that I've bought on another trip. I find it so beautiful and it goes perfectly with the theme of this week. Lately I'm really into Christy Tomlinsons style. I find her She Art so pretty that I also wanted to draw a She Art girl. I think it turned out pretty well for someone who absolutely can't draw at all!

After the base layer (the napkin) I started working with some paint. And covered up most of the napkin print. Then I was in need of some stamps to create some texture and interest. So out come my favorite stamps. All is covered with lost of Glue n' Seal. Love that stuff!

To join in all you need to do is make a project that fits this weeks challenge and you can be the winner of the $50 gift voucher that our amazing sponsor Simon Says Stamp offers. This prize will go to a random entry. So go over to the Stamp and Show Challenge blog, let the DT members inspire you and join in the fun!

Thank you for stopping by! Love to see you next time!

Hugs,
Sandra

Sandra, your Christi Tomlinson style canvas is really great! I love your background with the napkin and all of the colors and texture. It's fantastic! I am like you...not much of a sketcher...but your "she art girl" is darling! I also love your little dimensional stars up in the corner of your canvas. Nice touch! <3 Candy
