Hi everyone,
This time the theme is "W is for White" over at Simon Says Monday Challenge! What makes you think about, when thinking of white? Maybe a beautiful bridal card? Or something winter-like? I'm very curious to see what you'll come up with!
I got my art journal for this one and made all white pages. Which are very difficult to photograph, and I'm not really a photographer, although I've done a whole photoshoot to get the best pictures I could. But enough about my crappy photograph skills...
It is quite hard to use only one single solid color, especially to create depth. I started with appling a layer of Gesso to the pages. To bring some texture in, I made a doily with the Prima Doily stencil and Embossing Paste.
I'm having a doiley thing at the moment. I like those doilies, they are so fun! And in white they are stunning as well. Both The Note to Self and Documented for the Record Thinlits Sizzix are quite difficult to get the die cuts out of, because there are no punch holes in them. The trick to get them out is to use waxpaper in between the die and the paper. That really helps!
To join in all you need to do is make a project that fits this weeks challenge and you can be the winner of the $50 gift voucher that our amazing sponsor Simon Says Stamp offers. This prize will go to a random entry. So go over to the Stamp and Show Monday Challenge blog, let the DT members inspire you and join in the fun!
Thank you for stopping by! Love to see you next time!
Hugs,
Sandra
