Under the Sea Good Luck card with video tutorial

http://www.simonsaysstampblog.com/mondaychallenge/
Hi everyone,

It's Monday and that means a new Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge! This week it's all about "Nautical".

Many of our friends have spent their summer vacation on board cruise ships, some have been boating on lakes, and some have been sailing across one of the seven seas, we would like you to cruise along with us and create something with sea related voyages in mind.

I've taken the term nautically very loosely and this card is inspired by underwater life and travel. For the background I started with the Bubble Wrap embossing folder (thanks Marzena!) With the debossed side up. This side up made my think of a sponge. The first background layer is painted with Opal Magic Green-Gold and Blue Gold. This time I mixed them a bit while applying. With Green Man, Slime, Sleigh Blue and A Bit Jaded Infusions, I added more color. Most of the colors were collected in the "pits".

For more texture, I added Distress Grit-Paste at the edges and on the seahorse of the Mini Sea & Sand die cut set (thanks Cathie!). Grit-Paste isn't very good with lots of water, such as infusions with a sprayer to activate it. It gets a bit mushy. But with the help of a heat gun, it can be fixed.
The Garden Greens (thanks Cathie!) I transformed into underwater plants, especially by applying Abandoned Coral Distress Oxide to a few of them.

This is really beautiful. I missed your playing with infusions and I loved how they stayed in the holes of the embossed paper! Great colors on the background and a perfect touch of Grit paste. Love the greenery too, it really looks as a underwater algaes! Hugs, Marzena

Love, love, LOVE this! What a lucky seahorse to be able to cruise around in such a gorgeous setting. I am amazed at how well you conveyed a sense of movement and water with all of those layers. The color palette is drool-worthy, too! Fantastic work!
