Pretty in Pink art journal with video tutorial and SSS October Card kit card

http://www.simonsaysstampblog.com/mondaychallenge/
Hi everyone,

It's Monday and that means a new Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge! This week it's all about "Monochrome".

Pretty in Pink is the theme for my art journal spread. My inspiration comes from my team mate Marzena, check out her amazing project here! I started with a lot of stamping work and used my new Stamp Platform. Super cool that there is no limit to the size of the paper.
Anyway, back to business .... After all the stamping work, I've made some texture with the Bricks stencil and Texture Paste, and with the Simon Says Stamp Ring Frame die.

With Opal Magic paint Rose-Gold I've applied a base layer. After it was dry, it was time for Infusions, pink colored course: Are You Cherise and Magenta. This as a first layer with Mod Podge mixed with water. The effect was not quite as nice as I had hoped, so I quickly went on with the second layer. Are you Cherise on the top and Magenta at the bottom of the page. The middle also needed something and used a third pink color: Frankly Scarlet.

After everything was dry I started working with the Paper Dolls and the Botanical Layers. The girls got some wings and a sweet dog to keep them company. I mainly colored them with Distress Reinkers. The paper is not really suitable for that .... But I tried to make it work anyway. With Black Soot Distress Reinker I've added a lot of shadow and went over the egdes of the dolls and the dog with Black Soot Distress Crayon.
Using the Stamp Platform with the Lower Block Foam stamps and Black Soot Distress Oxide. I've used the J as a padding for the 2nd T.

In addition, I've made another card. This time with the October Cardkit of Simon Says Stamp. It's not entirely monochrome, but I close enough, rigth...?

I love your work. I love all the elements, stamps and images you use. I have a question. What is the tray you keep your re-inkers in? where did you get it and is there a cover that keeps them from spilling? I like the idea of the re-inker coloring. thank you and thanks for the inspirational videos.
