Fall card with video tutorial

http://www.simonsaysstampblog.com/mondaychallenge/
Hi everyone,

It's Monday and that means a new Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge! This week it's all about "Fall/Autumn".

I love spring and summer, but fortunately autumn has beautiful colors and that makes up for calling to winter. For the background I used Distress Oxides in the colors Spiced Marmalade, Ripe Persimmon, Mustard Seed and Ground Espresso. I stamped the numbers of the Purveyor stamp set with Archival Ink Coffee.

For the Layered Leaf I also used Distress Oxides, this time Spiced Marmalade, Mustard Seed and Peeled Paint. To show the texture of the leaf better, I rubbed the Distress Ink Ground Espresso over it. Along the edges I applied GoPress Dark Mirror Gray foil with Bonding Powder. This could be amy new addiction ... Just letting you know...

The leaf coloring is so realistic--the glow behind it and dark colors work perfectly. Your video makes it look so easy but mine never look as good as yours!

Great idea, using bonding powder to make the foil stick! This may be my new obsession also! Thanks for this great tip!
