You've Got Style Girl card with video tutorial

http://www.simonsaysstampblog.com/mondaychallenge/
Hi everyone,

It's Monday and that means a new Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge! This week it's all about "Feminine/Girly".

I've gone for the obvious color choice for this card, yep you know it, for pink and purple. But before I started with color, I first added some texture. First with the Polka Dot Border dies. And behind the polka dot holes I used Minc Foil. Then I applied texture by using Expanding Mousse with the Simon Says Stamp Extra Large Dots stencil. What gives that great bubbly effect.

Yes and then it was finally time for the girly colors, and I first chose Distress Ink in Seedless Preserves and Picked Raspberry, then I added Infusions Blackcurrant and Are You Cherise, together with Nuvo Shimmer Powder Cherry Bomb. To highlight the effect of the Expanding Mousse even more, I used Metallique Rose Gold. I gave the dress of the Paper Doll girl a soft pink color with the Distress Spun Sugar marker. This cutie has a lot of style, and the Simon Says Stamp Dog & Cat Dress-up stamp set from Simon Says Stamp has a perfect sentiment for this card.

Lovely card! I adore all the shades of purple, magenta, deep red and bordeaux. I see you used one of my fave stencils and the expanding mousse which I love, too. This is so "me" project, lol. Hugs, Macarena
