Professor Gadget card with video tutorial

Hi everyone,

It's Monday and that means a new Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge! This week it's all about "Transport it".

When I saw the Professor stamp set I immediately wanted it, but it took a while before I finally had it. I had the idea to make him in Professor Gadget, with a propelor from his hat. What a perfect way of transport. Loved the cartoon series Inspector Gadget when I was a kid. But our professor is slightly better with the gadgets, since he invented them ;).


  

I started with the stencil Swirly Florals and Texture Paste. When it was dry I started working with Distress Ink and Oxides. But because of the texture, it didn't went between the texture. So I grabbed a plastic bag and applied the Distress Ink and Oxides to that  and added the color that way. That went a little better. But the Nuvo Shimmer Powders Green Parade and Atlantis Burst worked best to add color between the texture. I colored the Professor with Distress Markers and made his eyes pop with Glossy Accents.
