From the Heart tag with video tutorial

Hi everyone,

It's Monday and that means a new Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge! This weeks challenge is
"Not a Card".

I was in the mood for some crackles, because lately I've been getting better with getting nice crackles. So I started with a Heavystock tag and the Lattice stencil with the Opal Crackle Texture Paste. When it was dry I applied a layer of Clear Gesso on top of the whole tag. With Nuvo Shimmer Powders I started to add color. From light to dark. First with Fallen Leaves, then Atlantis Burst and lastly Green Parade. But I also used Infusions A Bit Jaded.

 

I colored the rest with Distress Ink, with Mowed Lawn, Lucky Clover, Broken China and Ground Espresso. I made the edges a bit darker with Distress Crayon. First the crackles with Walnut Stain and then with Black Soot. I colored the Paperdoll girl with Distress Markers. And I gave her Transparent Wings.
