Paper Artsy Background card with video tutorial

http://www.simonsaysstampblog.com/mondaychallenge/
Hi everyone,

It's Monday and that means a new Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge! This week it's all about "Make Your Own Background". We're also showcasing Paper Artsy products, so if you have any, lets use them!

Infusions are my favorite stains, I've made so many projects with them and when I saw that we are showcasing Paper Artsy products, it was a no brainer for me. First I used Expanding Mousse (thanks Marzena!) Together with the Stars stencil and a layer of Clear Gesso on top. To apply the base layer of color I used Distress Paint Wild Honey and Spiced Marmalade together with Opal Magical paint Yellow Pink and Rose Gold.

With Infusions Frankly Scarlet, Sunset Beach and Lemoncello I started to build up the colors even more. I colored the large baroque-like thingy with Nuvo Mousse Persian Red. What an amazing color that is and what a great stuff that Mousse is. Next time I'm going to make spray with it, I just decided that now ... LOL! For the rest of the elements I used Metallique and Opal Magic Paint, in addition to Firebird and White gold Wax. And as last I've used Infusions on the baroque resin element and around the art stones to add more depth.

Ooh, that golden ruby background is just glorious - so full of warmth and drama. I love the gilded embellishing too.
