Party Time card with video tutorial

Hi everyone,

It's Monday and that means a new Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge! This week it's all about "Early Birds".

Let me start with that I am not an early bird ;), but that's okay. I brought in the trusty Bird Crazy stamp set for this card. But I first started with the background. I used Botanical Collage Paper with Soft Matte Gel, but also washi tape and paper scraps to make a collaged background. I used the Clockwork stencil with Texture Paste for some texture, but since it's actually more of a mask, you can't really tell that it's about clocks. But I like the texture anyways.


 

To give the background some color I used Liquid Acrylics Burnt Sienna, Ink Black, Distress Paint Weathered Wood and Metallique Paint Stormy Ocean with lots of water to mix and blend it all together.
The Crazy Bird was cut out of Watercolor paper and I colored it in with Distress Reinkers Weatered Wood mixed with Broken China, Walnut Stain and Milled Lavender.
