Bright Birthday card with video tutorial

Hi everyone,

It's Monday and that means a new Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge! This week it's all about "Bright and Cheerful Colors".

For this card I used two really bright colors, Distress Oxide Picked Raspberry and Mustard Seed. I also had some neon pink washi tape, which really pops! I started with a composition of all kinds of Washi Tape. I had a wide washi tape with lots of text and cut into strips with the Paper Trimmer for a more subtle effect.

 

In addition to Distress Oxide Picked Raspberry and Mustard Seed, I also used Nuvo Shimmer Powder Solar Flare and Cherry Bomb. I cut the Small Tattered Florals out of white and black cardstock and also used Distress Oxide Picked Raspberry and Mustard Seed for this. Didn't go quite well when I darkened the edges with Distress Crayon Black Soot, and when I tried to fix it it got even worse LOL. So I coverd it with some letters ;).
