Winged Ballerina card with video tutorial

Hi everyone,

It's Monday and that means a new Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge! This week it's all about "Dry Embossing".

 

Last week heat embossing and this week dry embossing, we're in the embossing mood. I did both for this week. The more texture the better, LOL! First I applied Texture Paste with the Latticework stencil. After it was dry I used my (new) favorite Ledger Script stamp and then applied a coat of Clear Gesso.

 

As the first color I used Metallique Paint Spring Blossom, and as the second color I used Opal Magic Rose Gold. It was still a bit too light, and thought it could use some contrast and added Infusions Sunset Beach to darken it up a bit.

I gave the Paper Doll a Tattered Rose Distress Embossing Glaze dress. And I made her wings with the Winged Impresslit.
