Adventure Awaits Stencil card

Hi everyone,

It's Monday and that means a new Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge! This week it's all about "Use At Least One Stencil".

Stencil are one of my favorite tools. They are so versatile. For this card I started with the background as usual. I used Infusions Rusty Car, Distress Spray Stain Rusty Hinge, Speckled Egg, Distress Oxide Spray Speckled Egg and Infusions Sleight Blue for building up the colors. Such a fabulous color combo. Speckled Egg has been my absolute favorite Distress color ever since it came out.

 

After the colors were applied, it was time for some stamping action. I used Ledger Script, Dapper and Read to Me stamps with Archival Ink Jet Black. For the stencils I used Dot Fade and Stitches. I used Dot Fade with Distress Paint Speckled Egge and Crackling Campfire, and the Stitches stencil with Texture Paste mixed with Distress Paint Black Soot.
