It's Monday and that means a new Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge! This week it's all about "Wild Things".

I had the Stacked Deckle dies for a while now and I really needed to use it. I started with the biggest one and cut it out of Kraft cardstock. The Crackle Paste I tried to make it black with Distress Paint Black Soot, only the Paste became slightly too fluid. It went a bit under the Industrial stencil because of it... Does anyone have a tip to be able to color the Crackle Paste without getting too fluid?

Sparkly Botanical card with video tutorial

Hi everyone,

It's Monday and that means a new Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge! This week it's all about "Add a Little Sparkle".

As my starting point I used the Botanical 3D Texture Fade (Thanks, Marzena!). With a blending tool and foam, I applied Opal Magic Green-Gold Paint all over. With the blending foam, it's possible to apply an equal coat of paint. This tip I saw in Mixed Media Jen's video.

Hi everyone,

It's Monday and that means a new Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge! This week it's all about "Summer Fun".

It's summer indeed, also here in the Netherlands. The temperatures are very high! Almost tropical and that was the best inspiration for my card. I started with masking the Heavystock with post-it tape. After that I stamped with Distress Oxide Squeezed Lemonade and the Simon Says Stamp Reverse Polka Dot Stamp. To keep the dots visible, I used MicroGlaze that works like a resist.
