STAMPtember 2018 Christmas card with video tutorial

http://www.simonsaysstampblog.com/mondaychallenge/
Hi everyone,

It's Monday and that means a new Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge! But it's also the beginning of a new month, and not any month! It's STAMPtember!

This week we are celebrating STAMPtember® and challenging you to use stamps on your projects, no digital images allowed.

Stamp It On

STAMPtember® is a very special month in the Simon Says Stamp calendar. Its a time for a big crafty celebration with lots of new products being released and different events happening over on the Simon Says Stamp Blog throughout the whole month of September. This week we are showcasing some new and fabulous STAMPtember Products! Of course you can use whatever you like on your creations!

From the STAMPtember release I received the Center Cut Holiday Icons stamp and used it for the background. I started with stamping it with VersaMark Ink and using White Embossing Powder to create a resist. On top of it I used Nuvo Mousse Aquamarine as the first layer of color. I worked with Infusions to create more depth of color.

The Birch Trees got a bit of with Grit-Paste to create texture of the trees but also to create a snow effect. The deer are from the Winter Wonderland die set and I gave them a bit of color with Distress Oxide. The big letters were cut out of Gold Foil Cardstock and I sanded them for more interest, and then distressed them more with Distress Ink Ground Espresso.

What a sweet little card! You managed to give so much life and energy to your deer by the way you placed them with the trees. They really look like they are in motion and I love the cleverness of the background elements, too. The subtle white outlined Christmas shapes are so fun! This is about a 10+ on the creativity scale!
