You've Got Style Girl card with video tutorial

It's Monday and that means a new Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge! This week it's all about "Feminine/Girly".

I've gone for the obvious color choice for this card, yep you know it, for pink and purple. But before I started with color, I first added some texture. First with the Polka Dot Border dies. And behind the polka dot holes I used Minc Foil. Then I applied texture by using Expanding Mousse with the Simon Says Stamp Extra Large Dots stencil. What gives that great bubbly effect.

It's Monday and that means a new Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge! This week it's all about "Whatever the Weather". But that's not all, we're also showcasing the amazing Mr. Tim Holtz products!

Last week it was already wonderful spring weather, and I enjoyed it very much, and so I wanted to make this spring-like card. I started with the Tim Holtz Mixed Media die and cut out the honeycomb. For even more texture I chose the Tim Holtz Rays stencil together with Crackle Texture Paste. After it was dry I applied a layer of Clear Gesso.

Hi everyone,

It's Monday and that means a new Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge! This week it's all about "Vintage/Past Times".

I wanted to use the technique I used last time once again, but instead of cutting it twice with the Mixed Media set, I wanted to emboss it. And luckily I had the Latticework stencil that matches the die. When the Texture Paste was dry, I random stamped with the Read to Me stamp. Then I applied a layer of Clear Gesso on the whole card.

For this challenge I haven't used things with wheels, just only the wheels, cogwheels to be exact. I started with two dies from the Mixed Media # 6 set. After I've adhered a second sheet to the back, I stamped it with the Entomology stamp. Next I applied a layer of Clear Gesso.

Typo art journal spread with video tutorial

Hi everyone,

It's Monday and that means a new Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge! This week it's all about "Typography".

One of ny resolutions for this year is to work more frequently in my art journal and therefor I made this art journal spread. I started with the Alpha embossing folder and placed it in the opposite corners of the spread. Then I used Collage Paper and tore off different parts by wetting it with a with brush. I adhered it with Collage Medium. Then I used a layer of Clear Gesso on top of it all.

Touch of Red card with video tutorial

Hi everyone,

It's Monday and that means a new Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge! This week it's all about "Add Some Red". And we're showcasing Inky Antics products which our teammie Andrea designed stamps for!

Although the theme is "Add Some Red", I decided to use only red, with a little pink. I started with the stamp set Queen's Quips that teammate Andrea has designed!! And stamped it on Heavystock with SSS Intense Black Ink and then again on Post-it Tape to mask it off. Then I started working with Distress Oxides in the different shades of red. I've made the edges more intense with Distress Oxides and an Ink Blending Tool.

Sister Love card with video tutorial

Hi everyone,

It's Monday and that means a new Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge! This week it's all about "Love is in the Air".

Do you already feel love in the air? We are approaching Valentine's Day. But I chose  for my card another kind of love. I now have all the colors of Nuvo Shimmer Powder and I wanted to work with some warm colors. But first I applied some texture with the Mosaic stencil and Texture Paste. When that was dry I used some of the newer Opal Magic Yellow Pink paint. After some random stamping with the Read to Me stamp, it was finally time for the Nuvo Shimmer Powders.
