Sherlock Holmes birthday card

Hi everyone,

I had actually planned a little break for myself, after the 12 tags of christmas. But I still had a to make a birthday card for a friend of mine. And I also wanted to join in again with Simon Says Stamp and Show. This time the theme is depth.
My friend wanted to see the new movie of Sherlock Holmes. So we (Lein and I) give her cinema vouchers as her gift. Yesterday, I visited Ira's blog and she had a super fun idea for a Christmas card with a plain ticket. That was such a great idea for the birthday card. So I visited this site and made a plain ticket. And I wanted to make the card a Sherlock Holmes theme.
This is the result:

The materials I used:
  • Distress Ink: stormy sky, faded jeans, sapphire chipped, frayed burlap
  • Stamps: Tim Holtz
  • Perfect pearls: Pewter
  • Perfect medium
  • Versamark
  • Embossing Powder: Clear
  • Paper distresser
  • 3d foam
  • Gear, spinner, fastener
  • Twine
  • Hinge clip

Thanks so much for stopping by! See you next time!
Sandra

Hee Sandra,

Inge
